About Our Founder
“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
Angelica, a native of Mississippi, grew-up poised for a career in performing arts. However, she began an unexpected career in technology at the age of 16 and went on to win over 50 awards local, regional and national awards for her research in biomedical science and robotics by age 18. She received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology and Master of Science in Instructional Design & Technology, while serving in several technical roles across major companies and organizations including the Kimberly-Clark Corporation, The Walt Disney Company, Hewlett-Packard, The Home Depot and The Girl Scouts.
Being equal parts artist and technologist, Angelica has lived much of her life on the outside. Armed today with the understanding that she is as God created her, she has created brands that help other “outsiders” embrace just how intentionally and wonderfully they are made. Her company and all of its brands operate under a social model, whereby at least ten percent of profits are dedicated to supporting both community and national organizations whose work aligns with their mission of reaching and embracing the outsiders in the world.
Angelica is proud to call Greenville, SC home where she lives with her amazing husband. When not working, she still enjoys performing arts, travelling, trying new cuisines and fitness.
